   Compact sealed-box speaker from famous USA manufacturer, Acoustic Research AR
   These AR28s model woofers have 8" AR drivers
   Tweeter is a 1" dome with square tweeter surround, one was repaired using genuine USA sourced parts

   The crossover is minimal, just a single capacitor and an air coil inductor
   Possible upgrades would include new polypropylene type capacitors and new internal wiring.

   Cabinets are generally good with their original grilles, one AR front badge missing

   Tight and punchy sound, designed to work best on stands, or in bookshelf mode : up against a wall.
