The L110 incorporates the latest advances in bookshelf system design, offering performance characteristics that rival the most sophisticated full-sized JBL speakers systems. Each component of the system has been engineered to obtain the maximum power-flat frequency response, widest sound dispersion, bandwidth and high efficiency. The result is a bookshelf system of exceptional accuracy that also recreates the spaciousness (stereo imaging) of an original performance.

The L110 realizes the the sonic goals of a studio-type loudspeaker system, yet its compact form provides the flexibilty of placement needed in the home. The end product of an extensive research and development effort, The L110 began with the re-evaluation of JBL state-of-the-art professional and home entertainment loudspeakers. Extensive listening tests were conducted to identify those characteristics that would be desirable in a bookshelf system.

   Tested with very high quality audio output

   Original condition at present, but possible improvements may be made, as follows :
   New speaker binding posts to replace original twist-type plastic posts,
   Replace upper frequency capacitors in the crossover,
   Possible wiring upgrade, cabinet sand and oil, midrange dustcaps have been replaced,
   Special size woofer foams may be fitted

   At present in original condition with cosmetic improvements, new midrange dustcaps
